Again...Samhain recipes!

I do several posts about Samhain recipes as I didn't want to write one big (long...very long) post about it.

I think it is more clear and less compacted that way.

So here it goes again for some other great Samhain recipes:

More Samhain Recipes and Halloween recipes

Here are more recipes to enjoy for Samhain and some recipes specially for Halloween. (Yeah, I separate the two as it is not exactly the same thing for me).

Recipes for Halloween:

"Boo-tiful" JELL-O Cups

Ingredients:
3/4 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (85 g) Jell-O Orange Jelly Powder
2 cups ice cubes
2/3 cup thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping,
divided 8 miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to make it:
1-ADD boiling water to jelly powder in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add ice; stir 3 to 5 min. or until jelly is thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Whisk in 1/3 cup Cool Whip until blended. Pour into 4 dessert dishes.
2- REFRIGERATE 30 min. or until firm.
3- DROP remaining Cool Whip by spoonfuls onto desserts to resemble ghosts. Add chocolate chips for the eyes.

This is what a ''Boo-tiful'' Jell-O Cups can look like

Samhain recipes

Samhain is knocking our doors and since it is my favorite Holiday, what better way to start this new blog with Samhain recipes!

A great recipe coming from the ''Ye Olde Witches Brew Magazine'', the Barmbrack.

Barmbrack is a traditional Celtic bread served during Samhain with tea, and is the center of a divinatory ritual for the coming year.

To make a traditional Barmbrack, trinkets and charms are always added into the mixture. Naturally, your own charms and meanings can and should be utilized as a part of your Samhain traditions. Each charm should be wrapped carefully in parchment or wax paper and placed equally through the bread before its final rise.
